Bielsa: 'Leeds may not buy in January'
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa suggests that he may decide not to sign any new players during the January transfer window.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has suggested that he may not bring in any new players in January.

The Yorkshire giants were busy during the summer, and the club's recruitment has led to Leeds sitting in second place in the Championship standings.

Leeds will be linked with a number of players over the coming weeks, but Bielsa has indicated that he may opt to keep the same squad for the second half of the campaign.

At a press conference, the Argentine told reporters: "When a new player comes, then he does not have the same advantage as the ones who are present. He has to adapt to the team, the style of play, the city, the club.

"For the second part of the season, when you buy a player it has an impact on the club's finances because the big players are not easily available. Apart from the situation where the team needs someone, the possibility of having a player is clear. We will not buy anyone."

Bielsa has already used 24 different players in the Championship this season.
