MK Dons boss Karl Robinson reportedly turns down the chance to take over as Leeds United head coach.

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has reportedly rejected the chance to take over as Leeds United head coach after holding talks with owner Massimo Cellino.

Robinson, who has been in charge of the Dons since 2010, was a leading contender to replace Steve Evans.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the 35-year-old has ended negotiations with the Championship outfit, who appointed Evans just seven months ago.

Quique Flores, who left Watford at the end of the season, has been touted as a potential contender, while reports have claimed that Leeds's next target is Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke.

Robinson guided MK Dons to Championship promotion last season, but the club dropped back to League One after finishing second from bottom.
