Chinese businesswoman Hawken Xi Liu has been linked with a potential takeover of troubled Premier League outfit Hull City.
The Tigers are currently without a manager after Steve Bruce quit last month over concerns that current owner Assem Allam was not prepared to spend in the transfer market following the club's return to the top flight.
According to the Daily Mail, Hawken and her brother Dai Yongge are leading a consortium that are interested in buying out Allam and are thought to have begun initial talks.
Hawken, 51, moved to England more than 20 years ago and amassed a fortune of £700m by turning former bomb shelters into shopping malls. She already has experience in the football game as owner of the second-tier Chinese outfit Beijing Renhe.
Despite their off-the-field problems, Hull made the perfect start to their Premier League campaign on Saturday with a surprise win over champions Leicester City at the KCOM Stadium.
