Wesley Bryan moves into lead at John Deere Classic

World number 115 Wesley Bryan records a second-round 64 to move to the top of the leaderboard at the John Deere Classic.

Wesley Bryan has established a one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the John Deere Classic.

The world number 115 hit seven birdies during a faultless round on Friday to move ahead of American compatriot Steve Marino.

First-round leader Tom Gillis has slipped down to third after he registered a 68, while Kyle Stanley is a shot further adrift in fourth position.

Spanish hitter Jon Rahm continues to impress during his first few months on the PGA Tour after ending Friday's play in a tie for 10th spot with one hole to play but Greg Owen - the only Englishman in the field - looks like missing the cut after finishing one-over-par.
