What if you could get single game tickets for Manchester United?

They say it is almost impossible to get single-game tickets to the top-rated Premier League clubs, but the operative word here is "almost."

They say it is almost impossible to get single-game tickets to the top-rated Premier League clubs, but the operative word here is "almost." What if you were given the chance of a lifetime to get tickets to a home match between those glorious Red Devils and literally any other club imaginable? It doesn't matter who they are playing, it only matters that your favourite team might have a few tickets up for grabs. What would you do to get them, and better yet, how could you even find them in the first place?

They Won't Be Cheap

It is mindboggling to even think a stadium as large as Old Trafford could be literally sold out for every home match. With a seating capacity of over 74,000, and being the largest stadium in the Premier League as well as the 11th largest in all of Europe, you would think that there would be single-game tickets available at least once in a while. This is not often the case, but if you can find them, they won't be cheap!

The sad thing is that usually, as luck would have it, when you find a couple for sale, you haven't the money on hand for two tickets. The best advice here is don't lose the chance of a lifetime! Get your mate who will be going with you to transfer money to you that it's immediately available. Check out apps like the Ria international money transfer platform so that you have it on hand in the event that you really can find those coveted tickets.

The Best Places to Look

Now that you are thinking of it, you are on a mission. There must be a way to find tickets for your favourite club, at least once in a season! Actually, there are three paths you could take. These include:
  1. Check availability with the club.
  2. Find a legitimate broker.
  3. Purchase on the questionable secondary market.

Even then, it might be difficult to get the match you want between Man Utd., and another team you feel would pose a good bit of competition. However, the key is to stay on it because you never know when someone has tickets they can't use and are looking to sell. As mentioned above, these probably won't be cheap but if it's your dream to attend a live match, it's well worth the cost, isn't it?

The Club Might Be the Last Place to Look

If you are only looking for tickets for one single match and not a few throughout the season, buying from the club is probably not the best option. The reason for this is quite simple. Before you can buy tickets from the club you need to be a member, but it doesn't stop there. Say you are looking for two tickets. That would mean that both tickets would each require a membership and even a light one adds to the overall price. Most people looking to attend just one game, maybe two throughout the year, choose to stay away from this option.

With that said, even the cost of buying those two tickets, should they come available, at a legit broker or on the secondary market would most likely cost less than the season's membership to the club plus the normal cost of the ticket. This is why getting those tickets poses a challenge, but seeing the Red Devils live in action? It's well worth the effort.
