Top players who contributed to the evolution of football

Football, the most popular sport on the planet, has produced some great legends who have transcended the game and will live on in the hearts and imaginations of football fans forever. It is very difficult to select the top football players. In the list, football players are selected based on the following criteria: Ability to win matches on their own, endurance, and performance under pressure. The genuine mark of excellence in athletics is performing under pressure and consistently producing when it matters most. As a result, the final two factors have been given slightly more weight.

Lionel Messi

For over a decade now, La Pulga Atómica has ranked no. 1 on this list, and he is still going strong at 33. Statistics and seasons that are sensational have become second nature to him. Barcelona's top scorer, Messi, has missed Barcelona's first four league games this season because of injury, but he is on pace to win La Liga's top scorer for the seventh time in his career with 22 goals so far three games left in the season. Messi has also contributed 20 assists in the league so far, which surpasses his record of 18 assists per season, and he makes 42 goals in 30 games. It is a record-breaking season for any player. Messi plays his game as usual. Barcelona hopes to win its first Champions League title since its treble triumph in 2014-15 after Messi scores 27 goals and assists 24 times in all competitions. The Argentinian forward has continued to play unstoppable and exciting soccer as usual despite Barcelona's managerial issues and uncertainty regarding the club's future if Messi leaves the club. He recently scored his 700th career goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Despite his 35 years, Cristiano Ronaldo has amassed unbelievable goals in his only season playing in Italy. Juventus has had 28 goals and six assists from Ronaldo in the 28 league games he played this season, for a total of 39 goals across all competitions this season. Ronaldo has already won the Champions League with his former clubs, but when the competition resumes in August, he will be looking to complete his treble. The most impressive thing about Ronaldo's recent goal-scoring performance is that he does it with less assistance from his teammates than before. Juventus ranks 16th in the Seria A in terms of crosses this season and 14th inaccurate crosses and assists from the cross pass. Since Ronaldo has the most headed goals in soccer history, his goal tally has been severely impacted by a lack of crossing ability this season. Ronaldo is a fun-loving person, and you will find him enjoying online casino and poker tournaments only for the sake of enjoyment and to test his skills.

Neymar

Despite a challenging season, a lack of playing time after Ligue 1's early closure rather than resume play after lockdown, and an injury, Neymar Jr. comes in third on my list. Fit Brazilian wingers are incredible. The Brazilian forward scored 13 goals and added six assists in only 15 games this season. The number of destinations and assists increases to 18 in 22 games played in all competitions. Neymar has not managed a full season at Paris Saint-Germain in his three seasons, but his world-class ability is evident when he is on the field. Neither Neymar nor his teammates Messi nor Ronaldo have won the Ballon d'Or. It is not that Neymar would not be a contender for the top player of all time without those three factors. Neymar won the Round of 16 after beating Borussia Dortmund on aggregate and will be hungry for a trophy after reaching the quarterfinals.

Robert Lewandowski

World-class midfielder Philipp Lahm recently completed his sixth season with Bayern Munich and his tenth in the Bundesliga, helping the club win its 8th title in a row. Robert Lewandowski scored his first goal at 31 in his best season with the club. This is Lewandowski's fifth time winning the Bundesliga's top scorer award. He scored 34 goals during 31 matches. In addition, he scored seven braces and a hat trick in the entire season, failing to score in only six games. He also scored 51 goals in all competitions while providing six assists, including two in the recent DFB Pokal final, which Bayern won. Lewandowski has scored in every Champions League game so far this season, and those numbers are likely to increase when the Champions League resumes in Lisbon in August. Bayern Munich is also in contention for a treble if Lewandowski continues his astonishing form and, in turn, helps them win the Champions League and become the second European side to win a treble twice. With Bayern Munich widely regarded as favourites to lift the trophy, this looks well within reach for the Polish international. ID:481545:1false2false3false:!x!:: from db desktop :LenBod:collect5862:
