Crystal Palace centre-back Scott Dann reportedly emerges as a transfer target for Chinese Super League outfit Beijing Guoan.

Crystal Palace centre-back Scott Dann is reportedly a transfer target for Chinese outfit Beijing Guoan.

The 30-year-old, who is currently with the Palace squad in Asia, joined the Eagles from Blackburn Rovers in 2014.

Dann is still the captain of the London side, but it has been suggested that the arrival of new head coach Frank de Boer could see the defender, who missed the final weeks of last season with a knee injury, lose his regular position in the team.

According to The Sun, Beijing Guoan have a keen interest in Dann, and the wealthy Chinese Super League club will approach Palace over a move in this summer's transfer window.

Beijing Guoan are currently managed by former Bayer Leverkusen boss Roger Schmidt.
