Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior is reportedly on the verge of agreeing a new long-term deal at Bernabeu.
The 24-year-old has become one of the leading players in world football during his time with Real Madrid, making the move to the European giants from Brazilian team Flamengo in the summer of 2018.
Vinicius boasts a record of 105 goals and 79 assists in 311 appearances for Los Blancos, including 20 goals and 14 assists in 46 outings in all competitions during the 2024-25 campaign.
There has been criticism of the Brazil international, though, due to some underwhelming performances in the latter stages of the Champions League, particularly over the two legs of the quarter-final loss to Arsenal.
It was recently claimed that Real Madrid were ready to sell Vinicius this summer, as there are concerns surrounding Kylian Mbappe's output on a consistent basis while Vinicius is in the side.

Vinicius 'to sign new long-term Real Madrid deal'
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Vinicius is on the verge of reaching an agreement with the Spanish and European champions over a new five-year contract.
Romano claims that Vinicius had always wanted to remain at Bernabeu despite the speculation surrounding his future, with clubs from the Saudi Pro League thought to be ready to pay him an astronomical salary to move to the division.
An offer of €300m (£255m) could allegedly be placed on the table from the Saudi Pro League, with Vinicius then being offered €200m (£170m) a season on a five-year deal.
However, when questioned on his future, the Brazilian has always insisted that he intends to pen a fresh contract with Real Madrid, and it is likely that he will receive a pay rise as part of that agreement.

Could Rodrygo leave Real Madrid this summer?
There has been talk of Real Madrid switching back to a 4-3-1-2 formation next season, with Jude Bellingham playing in the number 10 behind Vinicius and Mbappe, which would leave Rodrygo out of the side.
The Brazilian has managed 13 goals and 10 assists in 48 appearances this term, but there is currently speculation surrounding his future, with Chelsea thought to be considering a big-money move for him.
Much will depend on the managerial situation, as Carlo Ancelotti is set to leave in the coming weeks, with Xabi Alonso potentially arriving from Bayer Leverkusen as his replacement.
However, it is certainly possible that Rodrygo could be on the move during the summer market, especially with Vinicius and Mbappe both set to remain at Bernabeu on a long-term basis.
