Wednesday's Premier League predictions including Everton vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Everton vs. Manchester City.

Brentford vs. Wolves (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Looking to halt a worrying run of three-straight defeats, Brentford will welcome a resurgent Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Gtech Community Stadium on Wednesday night in the Premier League.

The Bees have been afforded a full week to prepare for a festive battle with Wolves, while the Black Country outfit are fresh from their Christmas Eve success over Chelsea.

We say: Brentford 2-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Brentford will be raring to put the loss to Aston Villa behind them following a rare 10-day break during the festive period, but the absence of Mee could hamper their defensive strength.

Wolves should arrive in the capital full of confidence after putting Chelsea to the sword on Christmas Eve, and we feel that the potential return of Neto could help O'Neil's men to a goal-laden share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Chelsea play host to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Wednesday evening looking for the win that will keep them in the top half of the standings.

Meanwhile, Palace - who sit in 15th position - make the short trip to Stamford Bridge sitting just four points adrift of their upcoming opponents.

We say: Chelsea 1-1 Crystal Palace

While Chelsea will be confident of picking up a result on home soil, missing key players against a Palace side growing in belief is hardly ideal. With that in mind, we feel that a low-scoring draw may be played out at Stamford Bridge, one that does not really suit either team.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Everton vs. Man City (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Returning to the Premier League landscape with a Club World Cup trophy proudly on display, Manchester City resume their halted title defence away to Everton on Wednesday evening.

Pep Guardiola's men thrashed Fluminense 4-0 to become champions of the globe last week, while their hosts are aiming to bounce back from back-to-back cup and league defeats.

We say: Everton 0-1 Manchester City

A staunch defensive display will be required from Everton if Dyche's side are to put another dent in Man City's title aspirations, but the Toffees had rediscovered their rearguard nous before being put to the sword at Tottenham, who did not emerge victorious without a couple of scares along the way.

Whether the hosts can carve open a galvanised City unit is another question entirely, though, and while the champions may not produce another Premier League performance to write home about, one goal should be all that is required for Guardiola's world-beaters to come back with a bang.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
