Head coach Thomas Tuchel says that Chelsea looked "drained and exhausted" during their 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Thomas Tuchel suggests that he has no intention of analysing Chelsea's 1-0 win at Crystal Palace, claiming that his players look "drained and exhausted".

The Blues had been struggling to break down their hosts at Selhurst Park until Hakim Ziyech netted the decisive goal in the 89th minute.

While Chelsea are likely to receive criticism for their laboured performance, Tuchel is keen to move on as soon as possible after insisting that the display was down to their schedule.

Speaking to reporters after the match, Tuchel said: "Every team in a season like this will have games like this, especailly between December, January and February where the conditions can give adversity in addition to the opponent.

"If we had another draw, maybe we'd talk about this game longer, but when you win it you have the chance to move on and forget it. We take the positive energy and take it into the next game. We won't wake up tomorrow wondering what we could do better, where we could score.

"We look a bit drained and exhausted. You can see we try hard and everyone is looking for the flow. Everyone is giving their very best but we are struggling a little bit. So it's important to win and keep going."

A day after Tuchel claimed that Chelsea would focus on winning the race for the top four, Chelsea now hold an eight-point advantage over fifth-placed West Ham United.
