Late goals from Jonas Hofmann and Marco Reus gave Borussia Dortmund a 2-1 home victory against newly-promoted Eintracht Braunschweig, although a late Robert Lewandowski own goal almost saw the Champions League finalists embarrassed.

Jurgen Klopp's side registered an opening day 4-0 away win at Augsburg, thanks to a hat-trick from debutant Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who started his first match at the Westfalenstadion up front alongside Lewandowski.
Kevin Grosskreutz's slip almost gifted the away side a shock lead in the opening minutes of the game, but Dennis Kruppke could not keep his effort down.
Nuri Sahin saw his strike sail narrowly over the crossbar as the half wore on and Lewandowski nodded over from the midfielder's free kick minutes later.
Braunschweig continued to frustrate BVB as the second half progresses, with Sven Bender and Jakub Blaszczykowski both going close.
Aubameyang, so ruthless last week, saw his effort from inside the six-yard box saved by Daniel Davari, before the linesman's flag spared the striker's blushes somewhat.
Then came a deluge of chances for the home side. First, Aubameyang sliced his effort wide when it seemed easier to score, and then fellow summer arrival Henrikh Mkhitaryan saw his powerful strike blocked.
Mkhitaryan was denied once more by Davari, but the ball fell kindly to Lewandowski six yards out. However, the Polish striker took a terrible first touch, allowing Davari to gleefully gather at the second attempt.
With the home crowd growing restless, it took a bit of magic from Mats Hummels to open the scoring.
The central defender showed the deft touch of a playmaker in back-heeling the ball into the path of Hofmann, who finished from a tight angle.
Hofmann won a penalty 10 minutes later that Reus converted to give Dortmund breathing space.
A Braunschweig corner was nodded into his own net by Lewandowski as the away side looked to force the unlikeliest of comebacks, but Dortmund held on to make it two wins from two.
