Birmingham City reportedly turn down a £3m bid from Derby County for the services of striker Che Adams.

Birmingham City are said to have turned down a £3m bid from Championship rivals Derby County for striker Che Adams.

The 21-year-old has garnered interest from a number of sides this summer following his performances for the Blues last season, which saw him score seven times in 41 league appearances.

Fulham are thought to have already failed with a bid for the former Sheffield United man, and according to the Birmingham Mail, Gary Rowett's Rams are the latest side to be rejected.

The newspaper claims that Birmingham manager Harry Redknapp is keen to keep hold of a player he views as "one of his crown jewels" and has discussed the possibility of handing him a new deal.

Adams was on the scoresheet with a hat-trick last night as Redknapp's charges swept aside Crawley Town 5-1 in the first round of the EFL Cup.
