Dethroned Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen will welcome Borussia Dortmund to BayArena on Sunday in their second last match of the season.

Second-placed Leverkusen increased their points tally to 68 following their 2-2 stalemate with Freiburg on May 4 but the draw handed the title to Bayern Munich, while fifth-placed Dortmund have 51 points and still could qualify for the Champions League.

We say: Bayer Leverkusen 2-4 Borussia Dortmund

Leverkusen may come into the game devoid of confidence following the confirmation that they have lost their title to Bayern Munich.

Dortmund have also found goalscoring form in the final stages of the 2024-25 campaign, and they will back themselves to net on multiple occasions.

Frankfurt vs. St Pauli (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Hosts Eintracht Frankfurt are on the cusp of securing Champions League football but St Pauli will secure Bundesliga survival if they win Sunday at Deutsche Bank Park.

The Eagles are third with 56 points after drawing 1-1 with Mainz 05 last Sunday but they need just two points from their final two games to guarantee a top-four finish, whereas St Pauli are 15th with 31 points and also need two points if they are to secure safety.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 St Pauli

St Pauli could prove to be challenging opponents for Eintracht Frankfurt given they have been resilient at the back in recent weeks.

However, the Eagles boast an excellent record at home and they have also been strong from a defensive perspective and may emerge as victors at Deutsche Bank Park.

Stuttgart vs. Augsburg (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Stuttgart will hope to use their second last Bundesliga match of the season against visitors Augsburg on Sunday at MHPArena as preparation for the DFB-Pokal final on May 24.

Die Roten come into the clash having beaten St Pauli 1-0 on May 3 and are in 10th place with 44 points, while Augsburg are one point worse off in 11th place and lost 3-1 against Holstein Kiel last Sunday.

We say: Stuttgart 0-1 Augsburg

Neither side come into the clash in strong form and Sunday's game is likely to be a closely fought contest.

With Stuttgart's focus set to be on their upcoming DFB-Pokal cup final, they may not play with the same intensity in order to avoid injuries.
