A report claims that Barcelona could bring West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon to Camp Nou before the end of the month.

Barcelona are reportedly preparing a shock move for West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon.

The Catalan giants are widely expected to sign a new back-up forward before the end of the transfer window and have thus far failed in moves for Kevin Gameiro and Luciano Vietto.

Valencia's Paco Alcacer remains a transfer target for Luis Enrique, but according to The Mirror, the Spanish champions are now considering a move for Rondon, who scored 10 times in 40 appearances for West Brom last term.

The 26-year-old, who joined West Brom from Zenit St Petersburg last summer, also netted in his team's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on the opening weekend of the 2016-17 Premier League season.

Rondon has previous experience of Spanish football having represented both Las Palmas and Malaga.
