Barcelona announce that full-back Adriano has left the club to join Besiktas after six years at Camp Nou.

Barcelona have announced that Adriano has left the club to join Besiktas.

The 31-year-old moved to Barca from Sevilla in 2010 and went on to make 189 appearances for the Catalan outfit, scoring 17 goals.

However, despite being contracted to the club until next summer, the full-back has now left to join Besiktas in a deal worth an initial €600,000 (£506,000).

That fee could rise to €1.7m (£1.4m) if Besiktas qualify for the Champions League during Adriano's time in Turkey.

The Brazilian international won 16 trophies during his time at Camp Nou, including four La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey crowns and two Champions Leagues.
