Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta hands David Raya his Gunners debut for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Everton at Goodison Park, while Fabio Vieira also comes in.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has handed David Raya his Gunners debut for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Everton at Goodison Park.

The Brentford loanee struggled for action before the international break but has now stolen the gloves off Aaron Ramsdale, who drops to the bench on Merseyside.

Raya is one of two changes from the Gunners XI that overcame Manchester United two weekends ago, as the under-performing Kai Havertz has been dropped for Fabio Vieira, who set up Gabriel Jesus's late goal against the Red Devils.

Jesus has scored eight goals against Everton throughout his career, but the Brazilian is also among the substitutes as Eddie Nketiah leads the line with support from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Following an injury scare on Brazil duty, Gabriel Magalhaes has been passed fit to start alongside William Saliba, while Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko complete an unchanged back four.

Meanwhile, Sean Dyche has also made a pair of alterations to his Everton XI, bringing in Dwight McNeil and Vitaliy Mykolenko for James Garner and Nathan Patterson, while striker Beto makes his home debut for the Toffees.

Everton are out to win their fourth successive home game against Arsenal, who have not taken all three points home from Goodison Park since Arsene Wenger left the club.

Everton: Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Onana, Gueye; McNeil, Doucoure, Danjuma; Beto
Subs: Virginia, Keane, Patterson, Godfrey, Garner, Dobbin, Chermiti, Calvert-Lewin, Onyango

Arsenal: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Rice, Vieira; Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli
Subs: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Kiwior, Jorginho, Havertz, Trossard, Smith Rowe, Nelson, Jesus
