Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will revert to his strongest lineup for Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

The Gunners were eliminated from the EFL Cup in the third round after losing 3-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion in midweek, but Arteta made 10 changes to the side who overcame Chelsea 1-0.

Karl Hein gave away a penalty on his debut on Wednesday and will hand the gloves back over to Aaron Ramsdale, while William Saliba - the only player to hold his spot in midweek - will link arms with Gabriel Magalhaes at the back.

Takehiro Tomiyasu is expected to remain out with his muscular injury before jetting off to the World Cup with Japan, so Ben White's spot at right-back is safe, while Oleksandr Zinchenko should come in for Kieran Tierney, even if Arteta is tempted to field the latter against the explosive Adama Traore.

Mohamed Elneny and Albert Sambi Lokonga will drop out for Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka, while Fabio Vieira failed to impress in midweek and will cede his spot to Martin Odegaard.

Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah were two of Arsenal's standout men in the EFL Cup, but there is no chance of the duo holding their spots over Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus.

Marquinhos will also drop out for his fellow Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli, as Arsenal aim to enter the World Cup break at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
