Striker Nicklas Bendtner has said that it was a "dream come true" to have represented Arsenal earlier in his career.
Bendtner scored 47 goals in 171 appearances during a nine-year spell with the Gunners, and although he struggled during the closing stages of his time in North London, the Danish international is hopeful of a positive reception from the club's supporters.
The 28-year-old told reporters: "I hope so. When I signed for Arsenal, I always wanted to play at Highbury because as a young boy, I liked Arsenal.
"I knew they had just got the new stadium so it was a short window to play there but it happened and it was a dream come true for me."
Bendtner has made two substitute appearances for Forest since signing for the club on a free transfer.
