Barcelona forward Luis Suarez says that he will 'happily' sit out his team's La Liga clash with Malaga after the international break.

Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has insisted that he will 'happily' sit out his team's La Liga clash with Malaga after the international break.

Suarez entered Sunday's clash with Sevilla on four yellow cards and was facing the possibility of being ruled out of Barcelona's upcoming matches against Real Sociedad or Real Madrid.

However, a booking against Sevilla means that the Uruguay international will miss the Malaga clash and the forward is pleased to now "start with a clean slate" ahead of a busy run of matches.

"The yellow card was actually a good thing," Suarez told Canal Plus. "I start with a clean slate again ahead of games away against Real Sociedad and versus Real Madrid."

Suarez scored the winner as Barcelona came from behind to beat Sevilla on Sunday night.
