Manager Massimiliano Allegri suggests that he intends to remain at Juventus next season, despite alleged interest from Arsenal.

Massimiliano Allegri has suggested that he intends to continue as manager of Juventus next season.

Since Arsene Wenger revealed his plans to step down as Arsenal boss, Allegri has been regarded as one of the top contenders to replace the Frenchman at the Emirates Stadium.

However, after sealing another Serie A title success with Juve at the weekend, Allegri says that his focus is putting together plans to improve the Italian giants ahead of the next campaign.

The 50-year-old told Italian reporters: "If they don't fire me, then I think I'm staying at Juventus next year too.

"It's not an issue of decisions on the future, it's about planning what the future of Juventus will be, because once we've finished celebrating, we have to sit around a table with clear heads.

"When the next season begins, we all start from zero points and must continue proving we are competitive."

Allegri has also been linked with the managerial position at Chelsea, but both London clubs have missed out on qualification for next season's Champions League.
