Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Wednesday's Champions League Group B clash with Sevilla.

Arsenal fans are waiting with bated breath to hear the latest on Martin Odegaard's condition ahead of Wednesday's Champions League Group B battle with Sevilla at the Emirates.

Victory for the Gunners coupled with a Lens win over PSV Eindhoven would guarantee a last-16 place for Mikel Arteta's men, who sunk Sevilla 2-1 at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan two weeks ago.

However, Arsenal enter the contest on the back of successive defeats to West Ham United and Newcastle United, losing 1-0 to the latter without the services of Odegaard, who had netted off the bench against West Ham before an apparent flare-up of his hip problem.

An enraged Arteta refused to go into detail surrounding Odegaard's issue at the weekend, simply relaying that his skipper was "not fit", and it remains unclear whether he will be given the thumbs-up to play on Wednesday.

Jurrien Timber, Emile Smith Rowe (both knee) and Thomas Partey (muscle) are guaranteed to miss out, though, as is Gabriel Jesus, who registered a goal and assist in last month's beating of Sevilla before picking up a hamstring injury.

A change in the attacking ranks could still be afoot, as Eddie Nketiah was ineffective against West Ham and Newcastle and also picked up a knock in the latter game, so Leandro Trossard might be given the nod alongside Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Kai Havertz escaped with just a yellow card for a crunching tackle on Sean Longstaff at the weekend, and the German's activities on the ball also left a lot to be desired, so Fabio Vieira is a candidate to join Jorginho and Declan Rice in the centre if Odegaard is ruled out.

Oleksandr Zinchenko should also displace Takehiro Tomiyasu, but Ben White, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes should be in no danger of losing their spots in front of David Raya - who survived a nervy moment in Seville when he attempted to punch a cross clear and only succeeded in directing the ball onto the roof of his own net.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Vieira, Jorginho, Rice; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
