Great Britain conclude the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow with a total of four medals.

Great Britain have concluded the World Athletics Indoor Championship by adding a further two medals to their collection, taking them up to four for the event.

On the back of Josh Kerr and Molly Caudery winning the men's 3,000m and women's pole vault on Saturday, Team GB have several more medal hopes on the final day.

The first was delivered by the women's 4 x 400m team, with the quartet of Laviai Nielsen, Lina Nielsen, Ama Pipi and Alexis Holmes coming third behind Netherlands and the United States to secure a hard-earned bronze medal.

Jemma Reekie then brought home an impressive silver in the women's 800m, spending much of a slow-paced race at the front alongside Tsige Duguma.

When her Ethiopian rival kicked for home with 75 metres to go, though, Reekie had no answer, but finished strongly to seal her first medal on the global stage.

Speaking to BBC Sport afterwards, Reekie said: "I knew those girls were going to throw something at me. They were just better today. First senior medal, I made some mistakes and I learn from it.

"It is unpredictable but that is what's going to happen with these girls running so fast. I will learn."

Georgia Bell was an admirable fourth in the women's 1,500m, the final event of the evening being won by Ethiopia's Freweyni Hailu.

The standout performance of the evening came from Devynne Charlton, with the Bahamas representative taking the women's 60m hurdles in a world-record time of 7.65 seconds, Cindy Sember finishing seventh for Team GB.
