Warrington Wolves ease to a 44-6 win over Widnes Vikings in the Super League.

Warrington Wolves have cruised to a 44-6 win over Widnes Vikings in the Super League this afternoon.

Gareth O'Brien forced his way over just five minutes in the match to put the home side ahead, while Joel Monaghan and Michael Monaghan were also among the try-scorers in the first half.

Rhys Evans scored two in the space of 15 minutes in the second half as Wolves continued to build their lead.

Widnes finally managed to get on the board with just over five minutes left to play as Paddy Flynn went over in the corner.

The result moves Warrington up to fifth in the table, while the Vikings slip to sixth.
