Salford Red Devils stand-off Rangi Chase has been suspended by the club pending an internal investigation.
The 29-year-old will miss his side's clash with Halifax in the Super League qualifiers this weekend.
Chase has been a key figure for the Red Devils during what has been a tough campaign for the team.
Salford announced on Wednesday that they had parted company with coach Iestyn Harris.
