Walsall sign Wolverhampton Wanderers duo on loan deals

Wolverhampton Wanderers announce that they have allowed Connor Ronan and Connor Johnson to join Walsall on loan.

Walsall have completed the loan signings of Wolverhampton Wanderers pair Connor Ronan and Connor Johnson.

The League One outfit have already made use of fringe players at local clubs, with Jack Fitzwater and Kane Wilson having joined from West Bromwich Albion.

Walsall have now brought in Ronan and Johnson on a temporary basis, with Ronan set to feature for the Saddlers until January and Johnson spending the entire campaign at the third-tier outfit.

Ronan spent the second half of last season playing for fellow League One side Portsmouth, with the creative midfielder making eight starts and eight substitute outings.

Defender Johnson had a spell at National League North team AFC Telford United during the most recent campaign.
