Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Fabio Silva reportedly attracts the attention of four more clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Fabio Silva has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for four more clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

During the back end of the 2024 equivalent, Silva was allowed to make the temporary switch to Las Palmas in order to earn regular football in La Liga.

As well as that materialising, the 22-year-old has kick-started his career, contributing 10 goals and three assists from his 24 league appearances.

Silva, who has also become a senior Portugal international, is now attracting the attention of a wide array of clubs across Europe who wish to take advantage of his contract being due to expire in 2026.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, who was reporting for TEAMtalk, four new clubs have entered the race and taken the total of admirers to nine teams.

Which new clubs have entered Silva race?

The report claims that Valencia and Celta Vigo are contemplating whether to make an approach to keep Silva in Spain.

However, they will seemingly face competition from high-profile teams from France with Lens and Lyon also monitoring the situation.

Each of the quartet of teams are said to be 'seriously interested' in acquiring Silva's signature, alongside the likes of Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolfsburg and Stuttgart.

Wolves are said to be ready to consider offers in the region of €20m (£17.01m) and €25m (£21.3m), there being clear potential for a bidding war to materialise in due course.

Will Silva bide his time?

The suggestion is that Wolves are keen to facilitate the sale of Silva as soon as possible, with the reason likely to determine how it will benefit Vitor Pereira's transfer budget.

From Silva's perspective, however, he knows that he is in a position of strength and will want to make the best decision for his career given the amount of loans that he has already experienced.

A total of 32 goals and nine assists have come from 101 appearances with Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven, Rangers and Las Palmas.

Interest may also come from Portugal, where he started his career with Porto, while it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Premier League teams may show an interest.

That said, Silva is highly likely to see his future on the continent unless he is motivated to prove himself in England.
