West Ham United captain Mark Noble says that the club need to bring in a "few" more players in this transfer window.

West Ham United captain Mark Noble has urged the club to bring in a "few" more signings ahead of the new Premier League season.

Manager Slaven Bilic has seen one recruit come through the door so far, in the form of former Manchester City right-back Pablo Zabaleta.

The Hammers are linked to numerous targets, including Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, but Noble has concerns that the club may struggle to match bids being offered by competitors.

"I think we need to get a few in. I'm sure the chairman is working tirelessly to get them in but this market is so hard," Noble told Sky Sports News. "Players are so expensive now and you get priced out. We're competing with so many other teams to get the players we want."

The Hammers, who finished 11th last season, will play their first three games of the season away from home due to the London Stadium being unavailable because of the World Athletics Championships.
