Valencia and Real Betis met at the Mestalla on Saturday with both teams in the picture for Champions League football with the latter stages of the season approaching.

Both teams had chances in the second period, but it was Valencia that scored twice late on via a Paulao own goal and Jonas to secure a vital three points in their fight for fourth position.
