Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose reveals that he is expecting to remain at the club past Friday's transfer deadline.

Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose has admitted that he is expecting to remain at the club past Friday's transfer deadline.

Rose made his first appearance of the season on Monday night as Spurs beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford to move up to second in the Premier League table after three games.

The 28-year-old was linked with moves to Schalke 04 and Everton in the summer, but Rose has revealed that he still envisions a future at Tottenham.

"I'm good. I'm not listening to the speculation about my future," Rose told reporters.

"If I'm here past Friday, which I'm expecting to be, it will be great. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve at the end of the season.

"Me and the manager (Mauricio Pochettino) have had a conversation [about my future] over the phone, as well as two one-hour meetings over the last couple of weeks. We're both aware of the situation."

Rose joined Spurs in 2007 and has made 119 appearances for the North London club.
