Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and head coach Jose Mourinho reportedly call a truce, with talk of the former's future now on hold until next summer.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and head coach Jose Mourinho have reportedly called a truce, with talk of the former's future now on hold until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Pogba has scored twice in four Premier League appearances for United this season after returning to the 20-time English champions as a World Cup winner with France.

The midfielder initially left United for Juventus in 2012, and won four Serie A titles with the Italian giants before sealing a return to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016.

The 25-year-old has largely struggled for consistency with the Red Devils, however, and was linked with a move to Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

Juventus are also said to be interested in re-signing Pogba, and it was claimed earlier this month that the midfielder would push for a return to Turin at the start of 2019.

However, according to The Mirror, Pogba has since held talks with Mourinho, and it has been decided that talk surrounding the Frenchman's future will be on hold until next summer.

Pogba missed a penalty in United's 2-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League at the weekend.
