Harry Kane will tell Tottenham Hotspur next week that he wants to follow England teammate Jack Grealish to Manchester City, according to a report.

Harry Kane is reportedly preparing to tell Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to follow England teammate Jack Grealish to Manchester City this summer.

The Citizens are believed to be close to finalising a £100m deal for Aston Villa playmaker Grealish, with the club then preparing to switch their attention to Kane.

According to The Telegraph, the England captain will tell Spurs next week that he wants to join the Premier League champions in a record-breaking deal.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is allegedly still hopeful of convincing the 28-year-old to reject the advances of Pep Guardiola's side to stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, Kane signalled a desire to seek pastures new earlier this year, and it appears that he is still intent on leaving North London in the current market.

The centre-forward has scored 221 times in 336 appearances for Spurs, including 33 goals in 49 outings in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign.
