Cesc Fabregas turns 38 today, and he will forever be remembered as one of the most talented midfielders in the history of football.
The Spaniard came through the youth system at Barcelona before famously moving to Arsenal in 2003, and he went on to represent the Gunners on more than 300 occasions before securing an emotional return to Camp Nou in 2011.
Fabregas would later return to the Premier League to turn out for Chelsea, before also representing Monaco and Como, with his career as a professional footballer coming to an end in 2023.
Now in charge of Como, he won a host of major trophies during his career, including two Premier League titles, two FA Cup crowns, La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
Fabregas was also famously part of the Spain side that won the World Cup in 2010 and two European Championships in 2008 and 2012.
He turned out for La Roja 110 times between 2006 and 2016, finding the back of the net on 15 occasions in the process.
