Southampton defender Jack Stephens agrees to join League One side Coventry City on loan until the end of the season.

Coventry City have signed Jack Stephens on a six-month loan deal.

The 22-year-old, who has made one senior appearance for Southampton, had a brief stint with Middlesbrough earlier this season.

"We're delighted to secure Jack's services for the rest of the season," manager Tony Mowbray told the club's official website.

"He's got some fantastic physical attributes but has also got an impressive range of passing which will suit the way I want my team to play."

Stephens joined the Saints from Plymouth Argyle in 2011.
