Sports Mole looks at how Serbia could line up for Friday's World Cup clash with Switzerland at Stadium 974.

Serbia have no outstanding injury concerns heading into Friday's crucial World Cup 2022 Group G game with Switzerland, in a real boost for manager Dragan Stojkovic.

Vanja Milinkovic-Savic has been the first choice between the sticks in the previous two encounters, and he should get the nod again, despite conceding three last time out.

A three-man defence has been implemented by Stojkovic up to this point, and it is the likely choice once more, with Nikola Milenkovic, Milos Veljkovic and Strahinja Pavlovic all set to keep their places.

Andrija Zivkovic has featured on the right of midfield in both games so far, assisting two goals time out, while Juventus winger Filip Kostic played the full 90 against Cameroon on the left, so the pair may feature again, in roles where they are expected to contribute towards defensive duties.

Nemanja Maksimovic was only given eight minutes against Brazil in the opener but impressed against Cameroon in the centre of midfield, so he should continue to start, alongside Sasa Lukic.

Serbia captain Dusan Tadic has one assist to his name this tournament and is a key component of the frontline, while Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could feature on the opposite side, having scored his first World Cup goal last time out.

Talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic is now back to full fitness, having scored the crucial goal to get Serbia to Qatar, and he was back among the goals last time out, so there is no doubt that he will lead the line.

Serbia possible starting lineup:
Milinkovic-Savic; Milenkovic, Veljkovic, Pavlovic; Zivkovic, Maksimovic, Lukic, Kostic; Tadic, Milinkovic-Savic, Mitrovic
