A report claims that Valencia's teenage forward Rafa Mir is a target for Real Madrid, who are currently under a transfer ban.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Valencia's teenage forward Rafa Mir.

As it stands, the Madrid giants are not free to sign any new players until January 2018 after their appeal against a FIFA-imposed transfer ban was turned down.

Los Blancos will continue to fight the decision, however, and according to AS, if they are free to sign new players in the summer of 2017, Valencia youngster Mir will be a leading transfer target.

The 19-year-old, who represented Barcelona between 2009 and 2011, made his Valencia debut in their Champions League clash with Zenit St Petersburg last November.

Mir began his career as a futsal player with CD Javali Nuevo and ElPozo Murcia FS before transitioning into full football with Ranero CF, whom he represented for two years before joining Barcelona.
