A report claims that Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on Gremio's Brazilian forward Luan, who has been dubbed 'the new Neymar'.

Real Madrid are reportedly closely monitoring the development of Gremio forward Luan, who has been compared to Barcelona attacker Neymar.

The 22-year-old, who is believed to be valued in the region of £11m, joined Gremio from Catanduvense in 2014 and has already scored 15 times this season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has sent scouts to monitor the attacker with a view to a move in the January transfer window.

Luan, who scored three times in four appearances for Brazil's Under-20 team, started his youth career with Brazilian minnows Tanabi.
