The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Real Madrid eye possible reinforcements.
Florentino Perez oversaw a significant overhaul of his squad last summer before focusing more on youth in January. As is always the case with Madrid, though, some of the biggest names in football continue to be linked, even in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news of possible comings and goings at the Bernabeu.
Wednesday morning's Real Madrid transfer talk news roundup:
Donny van de Beek 'agrees five-year Manchester United contract'
Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with Manchester United.
The two clubs are understood to have agreed on a transfer fee for the 23-year-old, with Ajax set to earn an initial £35.8m with that sum potentially rising due to add-ons and bonuses.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now claims that the paperwork has been signed by both parties and that Van de Beek will put pen to paper on a five-year contract in the coming hours.
The deal will keep the Netherlands international at Old Trafford until 2025, with Manchester United beating Barcelona and Real Madrid to his signature.
Van de Beek, who scored 10 goals and created 11 more in 37 appearances for Ajax across all competitions last season, will become United's first signing of the summer.
Everton 'complete James Rodriguez, Allan signings'

Everton are reportedly set to complete the signings of midfield duo James Rodriguez and Allan from Real Madrid and Napoli respectively.
Rodriguez has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu after falling out of favour under Zinedine Zidane, with the Colombia international totalling just 14 appearances for Los Blancos last season.
Meanwhile, Allan struggled for starts in the latter stages of the 2019-20 Serie A campaign and now looks poised to join Rodriguez in reuniting with Carlo Ancelotti at Goodison Park.
According to AS, Rodriguez will arrive on Merseyside in a £22m deal, and the South American midfielder has taken a significant wage cut in order to force a move through.
The former Porto and Monaco man is supposedly set to earn £76,000 per week at Goodison Park and will pen a three-year deal with Everton.
Allan, who has registered 11 goals from 212 outings for Napoli, will reportedly link up with Ancelotti once again after a fee of £25m was agreed between the two clubs.
The Toffees are also believed to be in advanced talks with Watford for Abdoulaye Doucoure.
