Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Celta Vigo

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga fixture against Celta Vigo.

Real Madrid will be looking to extend their unbeaten record in all competitions to 10 matches when they face Celta Vigo on Saturday afternoon.

As well as reaching the Champions League quarter-finals with victory over Atalanta BC, Zinedine Zidane's team also remain in contention for the La Liga title.

Los Blancos now sit just six points adrift of leaders Atletico Madrid, having collected 17 points from a possible 21 since the beginning of February.

Here, Sports Mole runs through Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of the clash at Estadio de Balaidos.

Sergio Ramos

Status: Out
Type of injury: Tibia
Possible return date: Unknown

Despite his recent return from injury, Ramos failed to finish the fixture with Atalanta. Zidane has since revealed that the defender will play no part in this game due to an issue with his tibia.

Eden Hazard

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Hazard has struggled with a number of injuries during his time at Madrid, and the Belgium international is now facing another spell on the sidelines with "a muscle injury in the right psoas". The playmaker is unlikely to return until the end of April.

Dani Carvajal

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Carvajal suffered a recurrence of a hamstring issue against Valencia last month, and the Spain international is not expected to return until after the international break.

Mariano Diaz

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: March 20 (vs. Celta Vigo)

Mariano has been absent from the squad since sustaining a hip problem earlier this month. With Karim Benzema having recently returned to the squad, Zidane is unlikely to take any risks on the fringe member of the squad.

Alvaro Odriozola

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Despite returning to the substitutes' bench for the meeting with Atletico earlier this month, Odriozola has not featured in the squad for the last two matches. With the international break to come, Zidane may consider the right-back to be out of contention until next month.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Los Blancos have no players who are suspended for this contest.
