Reading striker Lewis Grabban has said that he believes the club have a "good chance" of getting promotion to the Premier League this season.
The Royals are currently riding high in third place in the Championship and sit just five points off the second automatic promotion place with 16 games of the season to go.
Grabban moved to the Madejski Stadium on loan from Premier League Bournemouth last month and said that the side's impressive form under Jaap Stam this season made his decision to make the switch an easy one.
"If they didn't have a chance of promotion I wouldn't have come here," he told the Reading Post. "I definitely think there's a good chance to do something special this season. Hopefully we can do it as a squad over the rest of the season.
"And being one of the senior pros that has been quite successful in the Championship, I want to use that to help youngsters and help the team through my performances as well. I am hoping it will be a good spell."
Next up for Reading is the visit of playoff-chasing Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.
