Rangers are reportedly pondering a move for Aston Villa teenager Rushian Hepburn-Murphy.

Rangers are reportedly considering a move for Aston Villa youngster Rushian Hepburn-Murphy.

The 18-year-old striker has not yet played under manager Steve Bruce and it is believed that he could depart the Midlands outfit due to the lack of first-team minutes.

According to the Daily Record, Rangers are interested and will use the FIFA rule that allows Scottish clubs to sign English players under the age of 24 for a compensation fee, which could cost them just £220,000.

The teenager's current deal at Villa will expire at the end of the season.
