Former Rangers boss Alex McLeish has admitted that he has not applied for the vacant manager's position at Ibrox but stresses that the club have "got my number".
The 58-year-old previously managed the Blues between 2001 and 2006, leading them to two Scottish Premiership titles, two Scottish Cups and three League Cups.
Gers are currently searching for a new individual to take the reins of the first team after Pedro Caixinha was sacked on Thursday.
McLeish, whose last job in management was a 65-day tenure at Egyptian club Zamalek in 2016, told BBC Sport: "They know where I am.
"It's a huge club and they're not in a good situation and haven't been for a few years now.
"But they're back in the Premiership which first and foremost they have to start winning. They are a unique team along with Celtic."
Rangers are currently fourth in the Scottish Premiership table, eight points behind leaders Celtic.
