Teenage winger Jonathan Ikone signs first professional deal with Paris Saint-Germain

Highly-rated teenage winger Jonathan Ikone signs his first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain amid interest from Manchester City, Liverpool and Juventus.

Teenage winger Jonathan Ikone has signed his first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain, the Ligue 1 champions have announced.

The 18-year-old Frenchman was said to be on the radar of Manchester City, Liverpool and Juventus, but has now committed himself to the club at which he came through the ranks, putting pen to paper on a four-year deal.

Ikone told PSG's official website: "I am honoured by this vote of confidence. It is a source of great pride to me to turn professional with Paris Saint-Germain, a very ambitious club."

The young midfielder has represented France at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 levels, and can operate on both the left and right flanks.
