Preston 2025 summer transfers: Every confirmed signing and sale for Paul Heckingbottom's side

After surviving by the skin of their teeth on the final day of the 2024-25 Championship season, Preston North End will be hoping to regain their stability in the second tier, and bolstering their squad will be key to achieving that.

PNE have already welcomed up to six players, but they have also lost six players, leaving room for more to done in the transfer market.

With just one game under their belt last term - a 2-0 home loss against Sheffield United - former manager Ryan Lowe unexpectedly parted ways with the club having decided with his family that he needed a break.

The Lilywhites appointed former Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom on August 20 when they were 23rd in the table after losing their first two matches, and with the team on a run of seven successive league defeats without scoring, the new head coach had his work cut out for him.

PNE eventually finished 20th with a total of 50 points, just one above 22nd-placed Luton Town, and if they are to get back on track given that they had ended the three previous campaigns in 13th, 12th and 10th, they will need to bolster their squad in the market.
