Portugal coach Fernando Santos says that he is only focused on earning a win against Hungary after his side missed a host of chances to beat Austria on Saturday night.

Portugal coach Fernando Santos has said that he has already turned his attention to trying to beat Hungary in the final Group F fixture at Euro 2016.

For the second game in succession, Portugal failed to make their chances count as they were held to a 0-0 draw with Austria, with Cristiano Ronaldo missing a second-half penalty.

Portugal may now need to beat Hungary on Wednesday to progress through to the last 16, and Santos is keen to concentrate on that game rather than dwell on failing to win in Paris.

The 61-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We had plenty of chances, but we didn't score. Now we have to think about the next match.

"Iceland wasn't great, if we had won it that would have been a major step forward. Today we had another very positive match but what we need now is to play the next one and to win it; that will make the team grow.

"Hungary will be happy to draw against us, they are primed to go through. They will be highly motivated but we will have to break that wall down."

Portugal have never failed to progress past the group stage at a European Championship.
