Portsmouth manager Paul Cook insists that it will not make a difference to him if Bournemouth name a weakened side for their FA Cup clash at Fratton Park.

Portsmouth manager Paul Cook has insisted that he does not mind if Bournemouth name a weakened side for their FA Cup clash at Fratton Park on Saturday.

The Cherries are expected to make wholesale changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Sunderland at the weekend as they look to progress to the fifth round at the expense of their South Coast rivals.

However, Cook believes that any team assembled from the squad at Eddie Howe's disposal would pose a test for his League Two side.

"We're very respectful of the team that the opposition can put out. Sylvain Distin could be coming back to Fratton Park, and Lewis Grabban might come into the side," Cook told reporters.

"It's irrelevant what team Bournemouth put out, it's going to be filled with quality whatever, and so it's going to be a very difficult afternoon for us. But it's a game we're thoroughly looking forward to."

Portsmouth are looking to reach the fifth round for the first time since they made it all the way to the final in 2010.
