Newcastle United reportedly place a £35m price tag on Moussa Sissoko following his Euro 2016 performances and will not entertain bids below their asking price.

Newcastle United have placed a £35m price tag on Moussa Sissoko following his performances at Euro 2016, according to reports.

The 26-year-old, who was one of the standout performers as France fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Portugal in Sunday's final, has been strongly linked with a move away from the Magpies following their relegation to the Championship last season.

The likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have all been credited with an interest in the midfielder, but PA claims that Newcastle will not entertain any bids below their £35m asking price.

The report goes on to state that Newcastle have no immediate need to sell their star assets such as Sissoko and Georginio Wijnaldum, despite their desire to be playing at the top level.

Sissoko moved to St James' Park for an undisclosed fee in January 2013, going on to make 133 appearances for the club.
