A report claims that Manchester United want to sign Werder Bremen teenager Johannes Eggestein at the end of the season.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Werder Bremen teenager Johannes Eggestein at the end of the season.

The 17-year-old has not yet represented the Bremen first team, but his performances for the Under-19 side have caught the attention of the decision-makers at Man United, according to Weser Kurier.

The same report claims that Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in signing the striker, but the Red Devils are believed to be confident of completing a deal at the end of the season.

Eggestein, who scored four goals for Germany at the Under-17 World Cup in November, is out of contract this summer.
