Atalanta BC midfielder Alessandro Cortinovis is interesting Manchester United, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the development of Atalanta BC midfielder Alessandro Cortinovis.

The 20-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut but impressed for Atalanta Primavera during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 12 times and registering three assists in 24 appearances.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Man United are interested in the Italian, who largely operates as an attacking midfielder.

The report claims that the 20-time English champions have been following Cortinovis's performances for a long period of time, but a number of other clubs are now expressing an interest.

The youngster netted twice in a 2-1 victory over Roma Primavera earlier this week, which is believed to have attracted the attention of a selection of major European clubs.

Man United are thought to have a strong relationship with Atalanta, having agreed a deal with the Italian club last summer to sign Amad Diallo, who made eight appearances for the Red Devils last term.
