Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly still waiting on offers from European clubs before making his decision on his next move.

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly still waiting on offers from European clubs as he ponders his future.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner parted ways with Manchester United in late November after the forward publicly criticised the club.

Despite being involved with a Portugal side that are due to face Morocco in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, transfer news surrounding his future continues to dominate headlines.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo has not made any decision on his future and he favours a move to a European club, but nothing will be signed before the end of World Cup.

The report also states that the bid from Al Nassr, allegedly worth €200m (£172m) per year until 2025, remains valid, but that nothing has been agreed.

Ronaldo has scored once during the World Cup but last time out was dropped by Portugal manager Fernando Santos in favour of Benfica's Goncalo Ramos, who netted an impressive hat-trick in the win over Switzerland.

The 37-year-old had struggled for the Red Devils before leaving the club, only managing three goals and two assists in 16 games this season.

However, in his first season back at United last year, he scored 18 goals in the Premier League and managed 24 goals in all competitions in what was a successful return to the Manchester club after 12 years.
