Manchester United have reportedly agreed the framework of a deal for Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap.
The Tractor Boys head coach Kieran McKenna recently revealed that the striker had opened discussions with the Red Devils over a switch to Old Trafford this summer.
With an off-season switch imminent, Delap has played a bit-part role for Ipswich during the final moments of the Premier League term as they prepare for life in the Championship.
The 22-year-old has featured for just 20 minutes in each of his side's last two contests, both ending in defeats at the hands Leicester City and West Ham United.
Winning just four top-flight matches all season, Ipswich ended the campaign with 22 points in 19th place, a mammoth 16 points behind Tottenham Hotspur in 17th.

Man United agree framework for Delap deal?
According to ESPN, Manchester United are closing in on a deal for the services of England Under-21 international Delap from Ipswich this summer.
The report claims that the Red Devils have agreed a framework with the Tractor Boys for the move of the striker from Portman Road to the Theatre of Dreams.
It is understood that Ruben Amorim's men have informed Ipswich of their willingness to pay the £30m release clause in Delap's East Anglian contract.
An outline of the forward's personal terms are supposedly in place, with both parties waiting on a decision from the player himself before completing the transfer.
Delap could be tempted by a club who can offer European football, such as Enzo Maresca's resurgent Chelsea, who will be turning out in the Champions League next season.

Delap's debut campaign delight
Despite playing for a struggling side at the foot of the Premier League standings, Delap has managed to stand out as one of the division's top central strikers during 2024-25.
What makes that feat even more impressive is that the 22-year-old was navigating his first full campaign at the level, following two brief top-flight appearances for Manchester City at the beginning of the 2020s.
Across 37 Premier League matches, Delap bagged 12 goals and provided two assists, scoring more times than the likes of Nicolas Jackson (10) and Dominic Solanke (9).
